Data Fusion Upgrade (WIP)

The background is that in dev environments, customers delete/create CDF instances. So every time they create the new instance they get the latest version of Data Fusion. If the pipelines built up to that time are in an older version they need to manually reopen them to do the upgrade, and in theory they should also test them again to make sure everything still works properly. So the question this how-to article is looking to answer:

• is it possible to specify the version of Data Fusion/CDAP to be used (for plugins) so as to keep using the same version even if a new one is released? 

• and once they've updated to the latest version, which is the best practice to make sure the updated version is still working properly?
